PoPI Awareness for Teachers

In terms of Regulation 4 published under the auspices of the PoPI Act, your organisation and the Information Officer in particular must ensure there are internal awareness sessions on the PoPI Act.

We have developed a short course (approximately 1 hour) which can be presented ‘in house’ (COVID guidelines permitting) or online for your educators and/or your administrative staff. We focus on issues germane to their duties and how they could and should handle information pertaining to parents and/or learners.

He has lectured part-time for the faculties of Law and Science at Pearson Institute and the faculty of Law for the University of the Free State and is a SETA accredited facilitator and trainer.
