The Core of Your Role

As the Touring Financial Accountant, you will oversee the full accounting function for specific business units, ensuring that everything from daily bank releases to complex VAT submissions and forecasting is handled with meticulous care.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Financial Oversight: Full responsibility for Tourplan transaction flows, accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
  • Daily Operations: Liaising with suppliers and reservations managers to resolve queries and releasing payments across various banking platforms.
  • Rewards Club: Transactions, member statements, and relationship manager commissions.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensuring strict adherence to AML and FICA policies, managing high-risk agents, and reviewing deemed VAT to minimize liability.
  • Reporting: Preparing management accounts, accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting, and leading budget implementation.
  • Process Innovation: Identifying workflows for improvement to enhance team efficiency and financial accuracy.

What We Are Looking For

We need a resilient, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines without breaking a sweat.

  • Education: Relevant Accounting Qualification, Diploma, or Degree.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of related financial experience.
  • Tech Savvy: High proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Tourplan is essential.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
