Key Outputs
- Calm, professional interaction with suppliers and direct guests (phone & email)
- Creative, out‑of‑the‑box itinerary design
- Handling reservation requests via email or telephone
- Managing bookings from quote to final travel documents
- Delivering exceptional service to dynamic direct guests
- Proactive selling to ensure guests enjoy the best possible safari
- Saturday duty & cell phone duty on rotation
- Public holiday duty & cell phone duty on rotation
- Shift work required (07:00–15:30 & 09:30–18:00)
- Providing backup support to colleagues when needed
- Expanding product knowledge through training
- Operating with an independent, curious, “can‑do” nature
Knowledge Required
- Strong knowledge of: Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, Seychelles
- Understanding of FIT & Groups policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and strong command of English
Skills Required
- Time & desk management
- Strong computer aptitude
- Solid understanding of the travel industry
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to elaborate clearly in writing
- High customer‑centricity

- Tourplan proficiency
- Minimum 5 years reservations experience in a tour operating environment (not hotel/car rental reservations)
Experience Required
- At least 5 years reservations experience, preferably within a tour operator
