We are looking for a meticulous, switched-on Storeman who takes genuine pride in absolute accuracy, serial number tracking, and high-standard inventory management. If you’re someone who naturally keeps things orderly, stays ahead of stock demands, and thrives in a structured, hands-on environment, this is your place to shine.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Mastering the Details: Keep airtight control over stock, serial numbers (pumps, repair valves, dosing equipment), and batch registries. You’ll be the go-to expert verifying guarantee statuses and maintaining precision records.
- Production: Partner closely with our Mixing Technicians and Managing Director to monitor raw materials, track fast-moving codes, and ensure zero downtime on chemical and spare orders.
- Dispatch & Fleet Support: Pick, pack, and prepare orders with 100% accuracy. Oversee vehicle loading for our technicians, audit return stock, and manage courier dispatch with tight paperwork tracking.
- Supplier & Receiving Control: Offload incoming stock, verify POs down to the last digit, check COAs and expiry dates on raw materials, and keep storage systematic.
- Store Standards: Maintain top-tier housekeeping, lead annual stock-take preparations, assist walk-in clients with professional courtesy, and uphold strict QAHSE & SHE safety standards.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proven Track Record: 5+ years of solid experience in a Storeman or Inventory Control role (experience in water treatment, industrial equipment, or chemicals is a strong plus).
- Technical Savvy: High proficiency in MS Excel is essential for tracking stock lists, batch control, and registries.
- Licensing & Mobility: Valid Code 8 driver’s licence with your own reliable transport, plus a valid Forklift Licence.
- Eye for Accuracy: Comfort handling physical stock, loading, serial number audits, and chemical drum returns without losing sight of the paperwork.
- Mindset: Honest, accountable, safety-conscious, and proactive under pressure.
