In terms of Section 126 of the Children’s Act (Act No. of 38 of 2005), all organizations working with or having access to children are required to assess and verify the suitability of both potential employees and current employees on a regular basis (every 1 -2 years).

We are able to offer an extensive range of vetting services including qualification, ID verifications, social media checks to name a few and most importantly, AFIS criminal checks at your premises or offsite. 

Our AUTOMATED ELECTRONIC CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS are captured electronically and run through the AFIS database. Afiswitch performs fingerprint clearances on behalf of the SA Police Service (SAPS) against the SAPS fingerprint database of all known convicted and/or case awaiting trial persons to determine the previous conviction and/or case awaiting trial status of an applicant. Results are available in 24- 48 hours.

Once fingerprints have been captured, they are available for future checks ensuring that you can run checks on an regular basis without the inconvenience of having to recapture fingerprints.
