What You’ll Do

  • Be the Guardian of Financial Integrity
  • Keep daily transactions accurate and up to date
  • Question costs with confidence and professional scepticism
  • Prepare supplier payments and assist with payroll
  • Analyse management accounts and resolve ledger queries
  • Reconcile balance sheet items, clearing accounts, and inter‑lodge transactions
  • Support year‑end audits and monthly reporting cycles
  • Be the Anchor for Operational Teams
  • Lead monthly finance meetings and share insights with the Regional Finance Manager
  • Assist lodge managers and Directors with financial queries
  • Help compile budgets and quarterly forecasts

Be the Protector of Assets & Controls

  • Maintain strong internal controls and conduct spot checks
  • Manage petty cash, mobile wallets, and lodge bank accounts
  • Oversee stock sheets, stock takes, and safari shop audits
  • Investigate irregularities and report control breaches immediately

Be a Teacher & Team Supporter

  • Train staff on PanStrat and accounting principles
  • Strengthen Front of House financial processes
  • Build financial confidence across the lodge team

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA or active CPA progression (advantageous)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in finance or accounting
  • Hospitality or lodge experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems (PanStrat preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Swahili
  • A mindset rooted in ethics, accuracy, and accountability
