A fast‑growing freight company in Bartlett, Boksburg is looking for a detail‑driven Bookkeeper to Balance Sheet, to support their expanding operations. This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace of a scaling business and is confident managing books in an imports/exports environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Full bookkeeping function up to Balance Sheet
- Working with foreign currency transactions, exchange rates, and reconciliations
- Managing supplier and customer accounts
- Processing invoices, payments, and journals
- Month‑end preparation and reporting support
- Collaborating with operations teams on import/export documentation and costings
What you need to bring
- Bookkeeping experience to Balance Sheet (essential)
- Imports and/or exports experience — you’ll be working with forex daily
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of reconciliations, accuracy, and financial controls
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach suited to a growing business
