Boiler Product Designer
Our Client specialises in the design, manufacture, and improvement of boilers, water treatment plants, and pressure equipment and are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer with expertise in pressure equipment regulations. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in product design, improvement, and development.
As a Boiler Product Designer, you will work closely with the Managing Director, engage in research and development, and ensure our products are efficient, high-performing, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to prioritize tasks and plan workflows.
- Conduct research and develop innovative ideas for new products and systems.
- Modify existing products or processes to improve efficiency and performance.
- Deliver cost-efficient and practical design solutions.
- Utilize TurboCad for boiler designs and oversee drawing control.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Diagnose system failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Test repaired systems to ensure restored functionality.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to Quality Management System procedures.
- Participate in risk management processes as far as possible.
- Uphold compliance with the company Code of Conduct.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience with pressure equipment regulations.
- Proficiency in TurboCad or similar design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
