Key Outputs

  • Calm, professional interaction with suppliers and direct guests (phone & email)
  • Creative, out‑of‑the‑box itinerary design
  • Handling reservation requests via email or telephone
  • Managing bookings from quote to final travel documents
  • Delivering exceptional service to dynamic direct guests
  • Proactive selling to ensure guests enjoy the best possible safari
  • Saturday duty & cell phone duty on rotation
  • Public holiday duty & cell phone duty on rotation
  • Shift work required (07:00–15:30 & 09:30–18:00)
  • Providing backup support to colleagues when needed
  • Expanding product knowledge through training
  • Operating with an independent, curious, “can‑do” nature

Knowledge Required

  • Strong knowledge of: Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, Seychelles
  • Understanding of FIT & Groups policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and strong command of English

  • Minimum 5 years reservations experience in a tour operating environment (not hotel/car rental reservations)

  • At least 5 years reservations experience, preferably within a tour operator
