What You’ll Do

Client Engagement & Customisation:
o Assess client needs, from special interests and requirements to budget considerations.
o Respond promptly to written requests, providing detailed quotations and confirmations.
o Maintain constant communication with agents and clients throughout the journey, ensuring superior service and timely updates.

Reservations & Documentation:
o Load reservations and manage all associated documentation—from itinerary planning and travel packs to vouchers and rooming lists.
o Secure service confirmations with suppliers and arrange essential meet and greets as required.
o Oversee invoicing, manage payments, and resolve account queries to guarantee seamless financial transactions.

Client & Supplier Relationships:
o Foster robust relationships with clients, ensuring they are always offered the best price and service.
o Engage with preferred suppliers to negotiate competitive rates and monitor product offerings.
o Continuously develop your knowledge of destinations and travel trends through industry events, seminars, and training.

Operational Excellence:
o Deliver accurate and timely reports, adhering to all organizational procedures and deadlines.
o Demonstrate exceptional organisational, planning, and analytical skills while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.

What You Bring

Experience & Qualifications:
o Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the tourism industry, specifically dealing with incentives, groups, and group series.
o Matric/Grade 12 qualification; a Travel & Tourism qualification is highly desirable.
o Familiarity with Tourplan is an advantage, as is strong knowledge of South African and regional geography.
