To help sustain this work, the organisation is seeking a Senior Fundraising & Partnerships Manager — a strategic relationship‑builder who can turn purpose into long‑term, values‑aligned partnerships.
The Heart of the Role
- You’ll lead the organisation’s fundraising partnerships, cultivating relationships with philanthropies, corporates, foundations, and global donors.
- You’ll translate impact into compelling proposals, build trust with partners, and secure the resources that keep conservation and community programmes thriving.
- Working closely with programme, finance, communications, and leadership teams, you’ll shape partnership strategies, refine budgets, strengthen reporting frameworks, and ensure that every collaboration reflects integrity, alignment, and measurable impact.
What You Bring
- A relevant degree and 5+ years’ experience in grant writing and partnership development
- A strong fundraising track record across public, private, and corporate streams
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration
- Financial literacy and experience preparing aligned budgets
- Confidence engaging diverse stakeholders across cultures and regions
- A passion for conservation, community development, and purpose‑driven work
Work Environment
This is an office‑based role in Sandton with extended hours and significant travel — locally, regionally, and internationally, including remote locations.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
