What You’ll Do

You’ll design, quote, and book exceptional Southern African travel experiences for international agents — ensuring every itinerary is accurate, profitable, and delivered with care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing reservations for all services for internal and external clients
  • Quoting and converting private charter requests within required turnaround times
  • Negotiating and securing the best available rates with preferred suppliers
  • Managing all allocated bookings and supplier relationships in Tourplan
  • Overseeing reservations and operations for specific Scheduled Tours
  • Ensuring all pre, during, and post-tour procedures meet company standards
  • Monitoring group numbers and managing Scheduled Tour departures
  • Maintaining communication with tour guides throughout tours and charters
  • Handling payments, account queries, cancellations, complaints, and emergencies
  • Tracking profitability of assigned Scheduled Tours weekly
  • Collaborating with product development, sales, and marketing teams
  • Managing personal and shared MS Outlook mailboxes with discipline and accuracy

What You Bring

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • A Travel & Tourism qualification (advantageous)
  • Minimum 7 years FIT experience
  • Tourplan working knowledge (essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of South Africa’s attractions, routes, distances, seasonality, and travel logistics
  • Your Skills & Strengths
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephonic communication
  • Confident in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
  • Highly organised with strong time‑management abilities
  • Skilled negotiator with sound decision‑making ability
  • Innovative, proactive, and detail‑driven
  • Basic financial understanding
