The Role Purpose

To provide both strategic technical leadership and hands-on expertise across a complex, global digital and internal systems landscape.

This role sits at the vibrant intersection of digital solutions, internal IT systems, infrastructure, vendors, development partners, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that solutions are technically sound, secure, scalable, and aligned with a premium global brand’s technology direction.

Please Note: This is not a pure software development role. It requires a robust technical foundation combined with the ability to challenge solutions constructively, coordinate technical change, guide external vendors, and protect the ecosystem from fragmented or overly vendor-dependent structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Oversight & Governance: Provide technical oversight for digital products, platforms, internal systems, upgrades, and solution changes. Guard against vendor lock-in, fragmented architecture, and security gaps.
  • Hands-on Contribution: Roll up your sleeves to contribute to development, integrations, reporting, data analysis, platform enhancements, and technical troubleshooting when required.
  • Solution & Vendor Assessment: Critically assess vendor proposals from a technical, operational, data, security, and long-term sustainability perspective.
  • Project & Change Coordination: Lead internal systems upgrades, platform changes, and technical initiatives—including planning for testing, readiness, implementation, documentation, and handover.
  • Partner Enablement: Help external developers, vendors, and implementation partners understand the internal systems landscape, data structures, and constraints so they can deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Infrastructure, Systems Operations, development specialists, and business stakeholders to support a unified digital operating model that encourages standardization and integration discipline.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years in a hands-on technical role (e.g., Technical Lead, Senior Developer, Solution Analyst).
  • Strong experience building and supporting enterprise systems, integrations, and data solutions.
  • Proven experience writing SQL queries, developing stored procedures, and working directly with data structures.
  • Hands-on development experience with APIs, integrations, reporting solutions (Power BI, SSRS), or modern frameworks.
  • Proven track record of designing and working with system integrations, data flows, and dependencies.

Skills

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills across systems, data, and integrations.
  • A solid understanding of system design, scalability, and technical dependencies.
  • The ability to plan and support complex system builds, changes, and implementations.
  • Confidence engaging with both deeply technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and sharp attention to detail.

  • Experience in solution architecture, IT governance, or digital transformation.
  • Exposure to SaaS, CRM, or customer-facing platforms.
