The Role
Our client is looking for a Travel Specialist who can make African adventures feel effortless. You’ll manage reservations, scheduled tour operations, charters, transfers, guest support, supplier relationships — the whole ecosystem that makes a journey seamless.
This is for someone who thrives in the details, owns their desk, and genuinely cares about people.
What You’ll Be Doing (aka your daily adventure)
- Managing B2B & B2C reservations across scheduled tours, charters, transfers
- Handling shared mailboxes like a pro — categorising, actioning, responding
- Quoting with confidence and accuracy
- Booking & confirming tours, transfers, add-ons, and charters
- Monitoring group numbers and supplier allocations
- Managing invoicing, payments, profitability and supplier terms
- Handling cancellations, refunds, and negotiations
- Pre‑tour prep: rooming lists, guides, vehicles, documentation, supplier comms
- During‑tour support: lost luggage, chaser transfers, guest issues, guide support
- Post‑tour wrap‑up: debriefs, expenses, feedback, reporting
- Delivering exceptional service, every time
- Cross‑selling relevant products and following up on quotes
- Keeping product content updated and accurate

What You Bring
- Matric
- Strong SA destination knowledge
- Online systems experience
- Group series & FIT reservations experience
- Tourplan knowledge (advantageous)
- Solid organisational, time‑management, and financial awareness
- Microsoft Office proficiency
