From managing intricate movement schedules and supplier networks to ensuring VIP-level execution on the ground, you will be the engine behind unforgettable sports and event experiences.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Strategic Movement & Execution: Plan and deliver end-to-end operational logistics for major projects, including transport, accommodation, staffing, and supplier movements.
- On-the-Ground Precision: Maintain meticulous transport schedules, passenger manifests, and event logistics files, ensuring full contingency plans are in place for every project.
- Client & Stakeholder Brilliance: Serve as a trusted operational contact, maintaining clear, professional communication and exceeding client expectations every step of the way.
- Supplier & Rate Negotiation: Build strong relationships with key logistics partners to secure competitive rates, monitor service levels, and source innovative event solutions.
- Tech & Financial Stewardship: Utilize Tourplan and Zoho to manage costings, itineraries, and reporting while keeping project expenditure strictly aligned with budgets.
- Operational Leadership: Support and guide operations teams on assignment, fostering a high-performance culture built on clear communication, accountability, and team success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Expertise: Strong background in event logistics, sports tourism, or large-scale movement management within a destination management or sports events environment.
- Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience using industry systems such as Tourplan, Zoho, and operational scheduling software.
- Problem-Solving Power: Highly adaptable under pressure, detail-oriented, and skilled at creating proactive contingency plans.
- Relationship Builder: Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective supplier negotiation and client management.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard office hours when live events and operational demands require it.
