Inbound Travel Designer

Inbound Travel Designer

Cape Town or Johannesburg North – Hybrid

If wild, remote places make you feel alive — if you can lose yourself in stories about untouched landscapes, rare wildlife moments, and journeys that shift something deep inside — then this role will feel like home.

We’re looking for an Inbound Travel Designer who brings equal parts creativity, precision, and heart. Someone who understands that luxury travel is not just about where guests go, but how the experience makes them feel.

What This Role Is Really About

You’ll design journeys that connect people to Africa’s most extraordinary wild spaces — places that are vast, raw, and deeply moving. Your work will help protect these landscapes, support local communities, and create travel experiences that stay with guests long after they return home.

And you won’t do it alone. You’ll join a team known for treating people exceptionally well — from the first interview to long after onboarding. A team that leads with kindness, supports growth, and genuinely cares.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide global trade partners with clarity, warmth, and confidence.
  • Craft tailor‑made itineraries that balance logistics, guest preferences, and signature experiences.
  • Spot meaningful upsell opportunities that enhance — not inflate — the journey.
  • Maintain flawless booking files and ensure every detail is accurate.
  • Work closely with Operations to deliver seamless, high‑touch guest experiences.
  • Monitor margins and ensure financial accuracy across all bookings.
  • Stay deeply connected to product knowledge — new camps, seasonal highlights, wildlife movements, and emerging experiences.
  • Use systems like WETU, Smartbox, and Tourplan to keep workflows smooth and efficient.

You’ll Thrive Here If You Are

  • Experienced: 4–5 years in luxury travel design or senior reservations.
  • Obsessed with detail and committed to exceptional service.
  • A natural communicator with strong English skills (European languages are a bonus).
  • Able to stay calm, accurate, and organised in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Passionate about wildlife, conservation, and meaningful travel.
  • A proactive problem‑solver who loves going the extra mile.
  • Someone who values a workplace with heart — where people are supported, appreciated, and encouraged to grow.

Why People Love Working Here

Because this is a chance to be part of something bigger — to help protect wild places, uplift communities, and create journeys that change lives – Including yours.
