Lodge Manager – Botswana
A leading luxury safari brand is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee the daily operations of a premier property in Botswana. This role is central to delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining world‑class standards, and ensuring the lodge remains a place of warmth, authenticity, and unforgettable moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day‑to‑day lodge operations, ensuring every touchpoint enhances the guest experience.
- Build on the existing guest journey with fresh, thoughtful ideas that honour the heritage of the area.
- Foster strong relationships with new and returning guests.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure they are consistently visible across all departments.
- Manage lodge to‑do lists and ensure tasks are completed within budget.
- Support HODs to achieve and exceed guest satisfaction scores.
- Identify training needs, develop training plans, and implement a measurable skills‑development framework.
- Promote a culture of genuine guest care and meaningful interaction.
- Oversee guest delight activities in collaboration with guides, butlers, housekeeping, and other teams.
- Assist with monthly planning, including staffing, training, and guest requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a five‑star lodge or similar luxury operation.
- Strong background in hospitality and guest service.
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality or Business Management.
